Extra cover for a vehicle you would rather not risk

Enclosed Auto Transport

Your vehicle rides inside a covered trailer, shielded from rain, road spray, sun, and stone chips for the whole journey.

An enclosed trailer is exactly what it sounds like: a roofed, walled box on wheels. Your car is loaded inside and stays out of the weather, which is why it is the usual choice for classics, exotic cars, restored vehicles, show cars, and anything with a finish worth protecting.

It costs more than open transport, and it can take a little longer to arrange, because there are fewer enclosed carriers on the road and they are often booked ahead. That is not a reason to guess. Tell us the vehicle, the dates, and the route, and we will tell you what is genuinely available rather than promise something we cannot deliver.

If you are not sure whether your car needs the extra cover, just ask. For a daily commuter, open transport is usually perfectly fine. For a car you would not want a pebble to touch, enclosed is the calmer decision — and we would rather talk it through with you than have you wonder afterwards.

Good to know before you book

  • Enclosed capacity is smaller than open, so a short wait for the right carrier is normal.
  • Pricing follows the vehicle, the route, and the dates — we will not promise a rate we cannot hold.
  • A covered trailer protects against weather and debris, but it does not replace your own inspection at pickup and delivery.
  • If you have a firm event date, say so up front and we will be honest about whether it is tight.
